We have closed our Farm Gates to the
public for the very last time. It was a bittersweet moment
shared with our Managers, and a few of our Staff. The
feeling that overtook us was GRATITIDE. We have been so
privileged to have worked off of this land and have been thrilled to
share it with so many amazing people from all walks of life over the
past 60 plus years. We are grateful for everyone who helped
us along on our journey.
To our Patrons, both returning and
new - the stories and memories you
have shared with us have touched us in ways you will never know.
You are all a part of the yarn that has woven the fabric of our
business and for that we sincerely thank each and
every one of you.
To our Suppliers and Industry Partners that have
helped us along the way, it has been our sincere pleasure to have
worked with all of you. Ontario businesses need to support each other,
and we have been proud to have supported local, small business in
Ontario as much as possible. The exceptional products that our
suppliers have provided to us, or created especially for
us have helped make us the unique destination we have become over the
years. Thank you all.
To our amazing, diverse and dedicated Staff – there
are no words to describe how grateful we are. We have been
fortunate to have had hundreds of people of all ages, from student
to senior, help us on this remarkable adventure. We simply
could not have accomplished what we have without each and
every one of you. No matter how small or big your role, you were
paramount to our success over our many, many years in business.
To both past and current employees, we wish you only the very
best life has to offer moving forward. You will not be forgotten.
So, Farm Friends, the feeling is GRATITUDE.
Thank you for being a part of who we are, we will never
forget those who helped us get to where we are today.
We are proud to have been “Your Farm in
the City”, and we hope we have become “The Farm in All
of Your Hearts”.
Sincerely,
Gilbert and the dearly missed Evelyn
